Envelope Test Responses: May 1 - 31, 2000

Oh dear, I was bad and didn't change the test at the 15th. May just went by so quickly! My apologies to all who checked in.

The the two images for May are:

1 - 15: Animated bunny
16 - 31: A costumed person w/ sheild in Venice, Italy

Thoughts:

lyanna got the roundish shape of the rabbit quite clearly. And was she making an Easter connection between rabbits and eggs? (note: technically, lyanna posted during the Venice picture test, but we're not too particular here -- time is relative!)
lyanna's roundish shape could also have been any of the circular elements in the shield, on the breastplate, or on the hat. They also look somewhat like decorated Easter eggs -- or am I just obsessing?
JustMe's "series of arrow shapes, one on top of the other" might be referring to the decoration going down the back of the person -- definite triangular "arrow" shapes
Rick's "bear, I think, like a panda" may have a connection to the cartoon rabbit.

An insightful comment from just me: "Iyanna may have something there...her "rough textured egg shapes" and "yellow apples" seem to be the balustrade behind the masked player. Sure looks like it to me!"

I'd have to agree. Sure does help to have a second pair of eyes critiquing!

Impressions: a series of arrow shapes, one on top of the other. might be like...pine trees or the shape of arms and legs angleing away from the trunk of the body. the space in the angle seems important and ...light colored, perhaps yellow or peach. i would of liked to look upwards , seemed there might be more to see up there, but im not really good at doing those sorts of things.

Impressions: A calendar with chinese characters and a bear, I think, like a panda. A womans's voice speaking in an Asian language. Since I see a calendar, I am trying to tune in on what year I see...It looks like the first day of the year falls on a Tuesday. If this is a Chinese Calendar I am looking at...just last year Chinese New Year's day fell on Tuesday.
