Envelope Test Responses: November 16 - 30, 1999

The image for this round of testing is a computer generated 3D model, created by my husband, of a coffee shop we frequent called "Farley's." It's a bit big for this page, so take a look here. Musings on this test include:

charlie kempson-hopkins noted a "flat plane with a sphere on top of it." The coffee cup on the table top is a half shpere.
Was pete tuning into a patron of the shop with "long brown hair?" I know that's stretching a bit, but I thought I'd note it anyway.
Kristen's "orange" may in fact be the corn muffin on top of the table. Both are roundish in shape and orange in color.
Renate posted "flowers." There are not any represented in this image, but Farley's always has fresh flowers at the front counter.
Alanna said, " I think it's space with a bunch of stars." Well, of course the friends who join us at the shop and I probably DO think of ourselves as stars (in our own minds!). Again, a stretch; but a fun one.

Impressions: really stark shadowed face(s), one or two only & close-up.. clearly people, but sort of abstract, dark simple muted color..almost like masks..
